Departing from Kathmandu, the overland tour to Kailash Mansarovar across the Kerung border takes sixteen days. The Kerung border faces Kathmandu's northern region. Driving through Langtang National Park takes roughly eight hours. This border is the second optional border to enter Kailash from Nepal, following the Kodari border. Kerung, Nepal, is not far from the Tibetan town of Saga. It is planned to remain an additional day in Kerung Tibet to allow for acclimatization before driving straight to Saga. Tibet Kailash Travel has expertly created an appropriate Kailash Overland Tour itinerary starting in Kerung.

The major goal of this pilgrimage yatra is to get at holy Lake Mansarovar and have a clear view of holy Mount Kailash. The hardest phase is Mount Kailash Parikrama, which takes three days to complete, however visitors can bring their own horses and helpers. It is not as difficult as many believe for those who are physically strong and have a propensity of climbing and trekking to complete the 53-kilometer Kailash Kora across the highest pass, Dolma La (5,600 meters). On the other side, Tibet Kailash Travel's knowledgeable and supportive personnel contributes to the success of your Kailash Tour.

Adding Kailash Charan Sparsa to the Kailash Inner Parikrama walking segment is an option.

Hiking Kailash Charansparsa takes a whole day to reach the foot of Mount Kailash. It begins in the north location of Kailash Dirapuk. After traveling via Darchen on the first day of the Kailash Outer Kora, arrive at the North Site Viewpoint at Dirapuk. It is difficult to go across the sleepy ice path and glaciers during the day. This strolling can be planned by those who are physically fit and have previously acclimated to the altitude. Get up early and have a small breakfast at the Dirapuk camp. Carry a enough amount of water. It is essential to have a packed lunch and additional snacks in your daypack.

The trip can last exactly sixteen days in total. We may change the itinerary such that we drive straight from Saga to Kathmandu instead of staying in Kerung at the end. Depending on the month of the trip, this strategy may change. It is best to schedule an additional day to complete the Charansparsa walking tour if this occurs during a strong moon phase, such as August and up to mid-September.

1, Accommodation

Hotel and guesthouse accommodations are available on the Kailash Overland Tour. In Kathmandu, a hotel of 3/4 stars. All of the guest houses in Kailash and Shyaprubesi have shared rooms for groups. You are not required to spend the night in a tent or a camp. The price of the tour includes only modest lodging. Every guest home in the Kailash region is the same. Upgrading the guest home in Darchen is an option that you might pursue at additional expense.

 2, Transportation

The comfortable bus or van provides transportation for the whole excursion. Depending on the size of the gathering. Tibetan transportation in Tibet and Nepali transportation in Nepal.

 3 ,Foods ,

The trip's cuisine is exclusively vegetarian. Hotels in Kathmandu feature vegetarian cuisine. Delicious Indian style food is prepared by our own kitchen crew and served across the Kailash region. Packed lunches are supplied during the Kailash Parikrama, but a cooked, basic meal is served in the evening. You may also include a few of your preferred dry goods.

 4, Drinking Water,

Mineral water in large jars and little bottles is the water to drink on the Kailash Yatra. You may fill your bottles with hot, boiling water every morning and evening. Enough fresh drinking water is served to you by the Tibet Kailash Travel staff. It is advised to stay hydrated during the day and to drink three or more liters of water each day.

 5, Toilet Facilities

The Kailash area has extremely rudimentary restrooms. It is used outside the room for communal purposes. Insufficient water causes the toilets to get unclean. It is common for people to use the outdoor restrooms in Mansarovar, Derapuk, and Juthulpuk.

6, Staffs ,

A skilled staff team from Tibet Kailash Travel Nepal manages the entire journey. A chef team, a helper team, and a team leader. Tibetan guides with formal government licenses are to work with Nepali teams. The entire driving crew is also from Tibet.

 7, Trip Insurance,

Travel insurance is not required for the official Kailash permit and visa. In the event of an emergency evacuation, your travel insurance may need to pay for your personal expenditures. If you are returning from a middle-class trip because of a health issue, it could be more beneficial. or could pay for your costs should you need to evacuate in an emergency.

 8, Emergency evacuation,

If someone requires an emergency evacuation due to a health issue or any other issue, it will incur additional costs, all of which will be borne by the individual. We set up all necessary services. In the Tibetan region, helicopter rescue is prohibited. The only way to save lives in the Tibet/Kailash region is via car. Helicopter rescue is another option after you are to the Nepal location.

 9, Hospital and Medical facilities

The absence of hospitals and other medical amenities is Kailash. Taklakot has just a single hospital. There are no hospitals or medical supply stores in the remaining towns and villages. You will need to drive Taklakot to a hospital in an emergency. Throughout the whole trip, the Tibet Kailash Travel crew carries basic medications. Our guides and leader are trained in basic first aid.

 10, Group size,

Group departure from Kerung is the Kailash Yatra. To make the Kailash overland yatra, we require at least 4 passengers, which adds to the cost of your affordable journey. More than 24 people can go in a group on a single excursion. Any size party can also be scheduled for a private excursion, albeit the price will vary.

 11, Age restriction

Obtaining a permission and visa for the Kailash Yatra has an age restriction. The only age limit for Indian passport holders to obtain a Kailash permission from Tibet is 65. The Tibetan government's tourism division, Tibet Tourism, is responsible for issuing permits.

 12, Communication Facilities

The whole Kailash region as well as Nepal have local phone service. You will need a Chinese SIM card after you reach Tibet and a Nepali SIM card while visiting Nepal. After completing the processes, Chinese and Nepali sim cards may be purchased and recharged while traveling. Tibet does not have WIFI, however the Nepali portion has. You may use a Chinese SIM card to connect to the internet. At Kailash Parikrama, mobile networks are not available for a single day.

13, Health status and medical certification

Being physically healthy is crucial to the success of your vacation. However, in order to get your Kailash permission and visa, we don't require a doctor or medical certification. It is recommended that you begin your vacation preparation three months in advance by engaging in daily physical activity, such as morning jugging.

14, Adjustment
In this journey, acclimatization is crucial and required before arriving at a high altitude quickly. The high altitude of the Kailash region may provide challenges for certain visitors. Two nights of acclimatization in Kerung are part of our schedule before we go to Mansarovar and Mount Kailash.

15, Additional pursuits
It is possible that there will be more events during the Kailash Yatra. See the thermal springs and Chui Monastery next to Lake Manasarovar. Add a day to the schedule and go to Charansparsa via the North Face of Kailash. Travel at additional expense to Tirthapuri.

16,Kailash Tour under a full moon
The Kailash Yatra should not be undertaken during a full moon. Because of the overcrowding in the area, the majority of pilgrims aim to arrive at Manasarovar or the north face of Kailash during full moon. It can be a shortage of lodging and transportation. Numerous negative experiences resulted in the Tibetan government banning certain groups during that time. As a result, individuals could suffer.

17, Ideal time of year
The best time to undertake the Overland Kailash Yatra from Kerung is from May to September. October and April are still good months for small groups.

18, Additional Costs
